SUPERIOR provides pre-construction services to our customer and the design team, including, but not limited to:

• Early review of plans and specifications to identify and resolve project issues prior to the bid date.

• In-house design and/or engineering capabilities of complex details with the use of Auto CAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  
  
• The lobby for the Smith Center Theatre for the Performing Arts involved many different types of mounted and overlapping stone pieces on the walls, pillars and floor. By rendering these projects in 3D, SUPERIOR can provide visualizations for personnel at all phases of the project, reducing mistakes when doing complex or highly detailed work.

• Value engineering options such as suggesting alternate installation methods or materials that will eliminate unnecessary costs and / or improve the project value.

• Sourcing and specification of materials. SUPERIOR is an excellent resource when an evaluation of optional natural stone, tile or terrazzo products is needed.   We import tile and stone (slabs, partially fabricated blanks, and cut- to -size material) from around the world, and work with quarries and fabricators globally. For example, proper sampling of natural stone ensures project expectations are exceeded. Additionally, SUPERIOR has the ability to source alternative materials to assist the development team in meeting LEED goals and project objectives.
